Meal planning time during pregnancy is very important. Not only important for the mother, but also important for the fetus. Fetus must get enough nutrients to be healthy at birth.


Diet during pregnancy should contain quite a high protein value, as well as other minerals such as calcium , phosphorus, iron , iodine , and various types of vitamins other. Generally, it is much better for pregnant women to avoid salty foods. Supplementation with vitamins / minerals from a doctor or midwife can also help meet the nutritional needs of the high current pregnancy.

Foods to avoid during pregnancy

Soft drinks (syrup / soft drinks and carbonated beverages) and liqueurs, pies or pastries excessive, especially if a mother has exceeded normal weight. 

Do not forget also to check a weight carefully during pregnancy. Increase in the average weight for a pregnant mother should not to exceed 10 kg of ideal body weight. Could assumed, accretion is 1 kg per month during pregnancy.
